Final DOL fiduciary rule released today!

Timetable: The effective date is June 7th, 2016, which is 60 days after it is published in the Federal Register on April 8th, 2016.  Notwithstanding any possible applicability postponement(s), the rule is scheduled to apply to transaction on or after April 10th, 2017 (with certain phase-ins through January 2018).
